This beautiful piece of Smoky Amazonite has sparkling pieces of Mica through it. Mica is a type of silicate that can be formed within a crystal over centuries old. Fun fact ! - Mica contains reactive element metals and for this reason, they are heat tolerant, insulating and dielectric. Because of these properties, they are used in electrical appliances. They are used in control devices, heating devices, neon lights and other lighting equipment so you may have had pieces of Mica all this time and not known it!
